Privacy Policy
Effective 19 July 2026
What Pouch stores, and where
Everything you create in Pouch — expenses, categories, tags, groups, budgets, and settings — is stored in a local SQLite database inside the app's private container on your device. It is never uploaded, synced, or transmitted anywhere.
No account, no identity
Pouch has no sign-up, no login, and no server. We do not know who you are, and we have no way to find out.
No tracking
Pouch contains no analytics or advertising SDKs and does not collect usage data, crash data, identifiers, or anything else. The app makes no network requests at all.
Exporting your data
You can export your full history as a CSV or JSON file at any time. Export is entirely user-initiated and handled by the standard iOS share sheet — where the exported file goes (Files, Mail, another app) is your choice and happens outside of Pouch.
Backups
Like most iOS apps, Pouch's local database may be included in your device's own iCloud or computer backup if you have device backups enabled. Those backups are managed by Apple and your device settings, not by Pouch.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app permanently deletes all of its data from your device. There is no cloud copy to remove, because none was ever made.
Children
Pouch is not directed at children, and — as with everyone — collects no data from them.
Changes to this policy
If Pouch ever gains features that change any of the above (for example an optional cloud backup), this policy will be updated first and the effective date revised.
